DUI Dos and Don'ts

If you get pulled over for a suspected DUI:

DO: Request to call an Attorney

DO: Behave Courteously

DO: Show your drivers license, registration and proof of insurance

DO: Ask to be released to obtain an independent blood test from a hospital

DON'T: Agree to take a breath, blood or urine test until calling and talking with an attorney

DON'T: Answer any questions or agree to be taped

DON'T: Perform road side tests

DON'T: Admit anything

DON'T: Try to talk your way out or be rude
